Scholarships

We are proud to support Hanover students and their post-secondary educational pursuits. Each year, we award ten individuals with $1,000 scholarships for post high school education expenses including trade school, community college, and university tuition.

Scholarship Application Criteria

Scholarship Open To

Graduating Seniors starting a post secondary experience the fall of 2027.

Requirements

Applicant must have attended Hanover Elementary School or Salem Elementary or currently live within five miles of Hanover City Hall.

Scholarships

$1,000 scholarships shall be awarded to TEN individuals for post high school educational expenses. This includes community college, technical school and college tuition.

Award Date

Recipients will be notified by May 31, 2027. Notice will be sent via email. Once notified, a response is required to acknowledge acceptance.

Payment

Scholarship recipient must provide a copy of the paid tuition bill to the Hanover Lions Club. At that time, a check will be issued for the scholarship amount.
